Vegetarian, but with taste

If you are looking for vegetarian and vegan dishes without sacrificing the flavours of Italian cuisine, you will find plenty of options at Ci Gusta that will surprise you. Our menu is based on the main principles of the Mediterranean diet, from which many traditional Italian dishes are derived, and offers daily portions of pasta, bread, fruit and vegetables.

Our skillful pizza makers are sure to surprise you with our vegetarian Ci Pizza proposals. Try the Bufala version: crispy and light thanks to the long leavening process, garnished with buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, pepper, salt, oregano and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. A triumph of colour and flavour.

For those who prefer to avoid dairy products, but are not willing to give up true Italian taste, we recommend trying our Pasta alla Norma with fresh tomatoes, basil, aubergines and chilli peppers or our Pasta Sun with tasty sun-dried tomato pesto from the beautiful island of Sicily.

Our Focaccia, or ‘fügassa‘ as it is known in Liguria, is ideal for those on a vegan diet, as we follow the traditional recipe for a dough made with olive oil that can be filled with seasonal vegetables such as grilled aubergines, peppers and courgettes or tasty artichokes and mushrooms.

To conclude your break at Ci Gusta, treat yourself to a delicious gelato in one of the many fruit flavours that are traditionally prepared without milk or cream, but don’t hesitate to try our dark chocolate as well, which will allow even the most gluttonous vegans to enjoy their favourite gelato.

We look forward to seeing you at Ci Gusta to try our selection of vegan and vegetarian recipes!
