Ci Gusta brings Italian cuisine to the centre of Africa

On October 17th, our biggest restaurant opened in Brazzaville

October 17th Ci Gusta Brazzaville, Congo, brought the goodness and quality of Italian cuisine to the heart of Africa in a spacious and welcoming environment. With its 1200 m2 of two stories, the new restaurant is the largest Ci Gusta ever built and employs more than 30 people trained by Ci Gusta’s renowned chefs.

Ci Gusta Brazzaville is housed in a completely renovated colonial-style house and is located in the centre of the metropolis, on the bustling Rue de Colbert. Food lovers can now enjoy numerous Italian dishes such as bronze-drawn pasta with tasty sauces, tasty versions of Ci Pizza and Pancrocchino made with selected grains, traditional Italian desserts and of course a wide selection of artisanal gelato and bubble waffles.

On October 15th and 16th, Ci Gusta Brazzaville was exclusively presented to a select number of leading figures of the Congolese society, including a representative of the presidency and several ministers. We also had the honour of hosting the Italian Ambassador to Congo, Stefano De Leo, who attended the event to support the project that Ci Gusta has launched in the country. During the inauguration, they had the opportunity to see a preview of the spacious and bright spaces, furnished in the classic Ci Gusta style and were able to try a wide variety of the products on offer.

The grand opening to the public took place on Sunday 17th and attracted many families with children who enjoyed sampling our gelato and playing in the outdoor children’s area. Also, many young people came to try our pasta dishes and taste our delicious pizzas, and did not fail to share their experience on social networks!

Ci Gusta, through CEO Dario Rabboni, would like to thank His Excellency Ambassador De Leo, Assiaba Group and all the participants for making this opening unique.
