Wednesday, September 2nd Opera Italiana is in the Air took place in the magical setting of the Castello Sforzesco in Milan. This event was born from an idea of Alvise Casellati, director of the Farnesiana Orchestra. The baritone, Leo Nucci, together with three sopranos, Maria Mudryak, Federica Guida and Annarita Giuffrida, performed the Trilogia Popolare Verdiana (Traviata, Trovatore and Rigoletto).
The amazing harmony of Verdi’s compositions coupled with free access to this event brought the beauty of Italian Opera to a new audience in the historical context of the charming Castello Sforzesco Courtyard of Arms in Milan.
Everyday Ci Gusta is committed to spreading the Italian culture through the dishes we offer on our menu. For this reason, it was very natural to us to support a project whose goal was to bring opera to a new audience – to those who do not have the opportunity to attend the theater regularly – and help them fall in love with and experience the modern language and emotional force that opera releases outside the theater setting.
